Emily Ratajkowski Is Serving Up A Major Look This Fashion Month

Emily-Ratajkowski-ruffle-blouse

Emily Ratajkowski just previewed her official look for fall during New York Fashion Week. I absolutely love Emily Ratajkowski’s look for the Marc Jacobs runway show. The model looked effortlessly cool and dressed up her Re/Done gray skinnies with a playful white Marc Jacobs ruffled top and eye-catching accessories: a leopard belt, bright red heels, a tasseled clutch, and retro cat-eye sunglasses rounded out her cool ensemble.

The brunette bombshell turned just as many heads as the ready-to-wear models on the Marc Jacobs’ spring 2018 runway, with a new set of enviable bangs. Her eyebrow-grazing fringe felt boho chic yet modern, a vibe that matched her carefree waves. This may be another one and done situation, as there’s still no word about whether her new bangs are real or faux. But whatever they are, they’re fabulous and we’re feelin’ it!

Take Florals To The Dark Side This Fall

heather-celebrity-style-dolce-floral-dress

Blooms continue to flourish for fall. But this season, they are taking on a darker mood, blossoming from black-as-night backgrounds in a riot of vintage-inspired greens, deep pinks, and creams.

The notion of florals is normally identified with the coming of spring, but this fall, expect to see the popular print reimagined in a way that even Morticia Addams, queue the Halloween music, would be in support of.

Floral prints don’t always have to be thought of first as “girly,” as designers such as Miu Miu, Gucci, and even Topshop are churning out this familiar print with a gothic-meets-grunge vibe that all the fashionistas are very excited about. With Halloween and Thanksgiving around the corner, harnessing darker hues just makes sense, doesn’t it?

Thanks to the overwhelming amount of Instagram style pictures and tons of lust worthy pieces to prove it, wearing floral prints in darker shades is officially a trend. Anticipate opaque ruffled blouses, delicate maxi dresses, and shoes that are almost too gorgeous to take out of the box, to grace your closets this fall as you embrace your dark side once and for all this season.

Kourtney Kardashian Stylishly Covers Her Baby Bump In….Horizontal Stripes

Just when we thought her maternity wardrobe couldn’t possibly get any more stylish, Kourtney Kardashian continued her winning streak with another great look. Yesterday, the oldest member of the Kardashian clan stepped out with her sister Khloé Kardashian in the Hamptons, N.Y., while filming their Keeping Up With the Kardashians spinoff show Kourtney and Khloé Take the Hamptons, and she looked très chic.

For the outing, the expectant star managed to achieve the impossible—successfully pulling off horizontal stripes in the form of an adorable Lovers + Friends long-sleeve crop top and pencil skirt. Kardashian paired the layered form-fitting pieces with a bright yellow handbag, pointed nude heels, and a selection of gold jewels. All in all, it was a fresh take on your usual maternity wear. Stripes have never looked better!

Best Blogger Look: Gal Meets Glam Boyfriend Blazer & Lace Dress

Forever21 Blazer, Storets Dress, Balenciaga Bag, Tod’s Loafers

I love finding amazing style steals like this boyfriend blazer from Forever21 for less than $30. I paired it over the prettiest white lace dress last weekend for an evening date night with my husband. I usually dress up a lace dress, but I really like how an oversized blazer and loafers make it more casual and relaxed. I told you guys that I’ve been pairing my Tod’s loafers with everything- they’re just so comfortable and versatile!

Model Style: Jessica Hart

You may know her from her trademark gap-toothed smile, her status as a Victoria’s Secret model, or maybe even for her Down Under roots. But Jessica Hart isn’t just known for her runway prowess or that famous smile, she’s also known for her keen fashion sense. Case in point: this out-and-about look. Strolling the streets with her rumored finance (that’s a whole other story…and arm candy we can’t replicate), Hart was trend-setting, yet extremely accessible with her simple t-strap sandals and au nautrale hair. Her outfit is a study in a mixed print done right: two complementary prints in a similar color scheme (in this case, do-able black and white). I love how prints make a simple shorts + button-up look extremely forward and mod. Want model style this season? Get it with mixed prints!

1. Equipment Equipment Butterfly Print Shirt: Heart a-flutter. Somehow this girly print is all grown-up, and I believe the key is in the black on white color, not to mention the boho quality of this particular butterfly print. Which brings me to my next point: when approaching the mixed print trend for the first time, try mixing simple color schemes like a black and white butterfly with a black and white polka dot. Keeping strictly it in the same color scheme makes the whole outfit work.

2. J.Crew Indigo Polka-Dot Shorts: Wear now, wear later. The printed short reigned supreme this summer. While I kept the rest of my outfit simple last season, this fall I’m escalating this style by pairing it with mixed prints. When it gets even chillier, I’ll throw on a blazer and booties…for weekend a cozy knit.

3. Sam Edelman Gigi Leather Thong Sandal: A forever style. I wore the soles right off my black t-strap sandals this summer, quite literally. I’m on the hunt for a new pair. After seeing Jessica Hart in hers, I shifted this want into my need category. A style like this is the definition of a staple piece.

4. Stella McCartney Oversized Cat Eye Sunglasses: Oh-so-MODel. Be daring with your eye wear. A simple outfit can go from ho-hum to wow-factor with a pair of fashion-forward shades. These oversized cat eye sunglasses get the WOW from a vintage-inspired cat eye frame and eye-catching tortoise shell coloration.

5. Dolce & Gabbana Sicily Bag: A name unaccessible for some, but keep the spirit in mind. Top handle bags have the IT factor this fall. One in basic black with gold hardware guarantees instant polish to a work or weekend look.
