There is a good reason Blake Lively’s style continues to make her a force in the fashion world. The newly minted style icon has been killing it while promoting her new film A Simple Favor. The 30-year-old actress took us back to her Gossip Girl days by showing off her fashion flair in four head-turning looks in one weekend while in New York.

Blake’s street style parade made it very clear that she isn’t afraid to take a fashion risk and make us stand up and take notice. The actress stepped out wearing two velvet blazers and nothing else underneath — something that I’m pretty sure hasn’t been done before.

Blake Lively isn’t here to play around, folks. She started off in traffic-stopping green neon suit from Versace’s Spring ’19 men’s collection with a matching knitted sweater. She finished her Nickelodeon-inspired look off with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and Christian Louboutin heels.

That same day, Blake showed us how to wear velvet in the Summer. She switched into a sleeveless teal velour suit by Brunello Cucinelli with studded heels and Lorraine Schwartz jewels. Would you take a style tip from Blake Lively and wear velvet in the year’s hottest months?

She then changed into a Roland Mouret tartan jacket and matching trousers. Her intricate two-piece featured pops of red, yellow, blue, and green plaid. She accessorized with, ready for it? Her husband Ryan Reynolds tie. Awe! that featured a heart-shaped brooch by Lorraine Schwartz and Christian Louboutin heels.

To finish off her fashion-packed weekend, Blake wore a white pin-striped Zimmermann Resort 2019 suit with a lace white shirt underneath. She topped her look off with Lorraine Schwartz jewels and embellished Christian Louboutin heels.
