Embrace Your Inner Cowgirl with Elevated Cowboy Boots

How to wear cowboy boots like a celebrity

This season, the footwear focus is firmly on the new Western boot, a trend that just about anyone can get on board with and the celebrities love. Whether you gravitate towards Ganni‘s two-tone version or Isabel Marant‘s ’80s-inspired embroidered designs like Victoria Beckham, you’ll be surprised just how wearable these trophy boots really are.

How Celebrities Are Rocking The Cowboy Boot Trend

It’s no surprise that Gigi Hadid always seems to be one step ahead of the trends. She arrived for Paris Fashion Week, she brought along a change of wardrobe. It appeared the model picked up a little something when she stopped in Milan for shows: a pair of stunning white cowboy boots. Gigi first debuted the Fendi shoes on the Fall ’18 runway, rocking them with a structured collared dress. But IRL, she wore them with a Fendi off-the-shoulder dress and a Fendi strapped bag for an all-encompassing look from the fashion house.

How To style Cowboy Boots

Use them to elevate an all-black ensemble, toughen up a liquid-silk slip dress or really commit to the western theme by wearing them with double denim. These boots were made for doing way more than walking.

The updates to watch out for? Embroidery, crystal tassels – Kendall Jenner’s are just the right amount of rugged – bold colors and myriad heel shapes and heights. In cool weather, team with a blazer and straight-leg jeans for an off-kilter approach to tailoring; in the heat, try them with floral Fall dresses to ground the pretty prints. It’s time to take the reins back.

The cowboy boots trend has definitely been picking up steam. Hadid’s cool outfit had me convinced that this western style is worth trying, see how I styled my pair HERE.
