It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Sale season is upon us, and some of our favorite e-tailers are marking down your favorite items.Today begins one of the most anticipated sales of the year, and I couldn’t be more excited.  Net-A-Porter only has a sale twice a year, so when the sale happens it is major news. If you are one of those people who hold out on sale shopping until the bargains are really good, this is the sale for you.

I’ve rounded up some of my favorite items on sale, but the most important thing to do is jump over to Net-A-Porter and add everything you’ve been wanting to your cart ASAP before it sells out.

Here’s what should be on YOUR Holiday wishlist this year:

A Luxe Wrap Dress: RIXO London Creative Directors Henrietta Rix and Orlagh McCloskey hand-paint all of their prints – the black palm trees and red suns on this ‘Cindy’ dress are inspired by Thai beaches. Made from crepe, it has a kimono-style wrap front that fastens with a self-tie waist belt. Opt to wear it undone over jeans and a T-shirt.

Keep It Cool Shades: Founded by style mavens Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Elizabeth and James is loved for its fresh and contemporary shapes. These ‘Payton’ sunglasses are made from gray-green acetate with sepia lenses in a retro cat-eye silhouette. They’re especially flattering on round faces.

Cozy But Cute Hat: Eugenia Kim crafts her signature ‘Rain’ beanie hats from chunky wool yarns because it insulates so well. Long enough to be styled folded over or loose and draped, this version is topped with a faux fur pompom in black and gray.

A Bag Everyone Will Envy: Chloé’s ‘Mily’ style is the latest in the house’s coveted bag line-up. This neatly proportioned piece has been crafted in Italy from light-brown textured-leather and mustard suede and has three compartments for organizing your cell phone, wallet and diary. Switch between the black or polished gold chain shoulder straps.

The Perfect Pair Of Jeans: Worn by the likes of Kate Moss and Sarah Jessica Parker, Current/Elliott is the name to know when it comes to finding jeans with a great fit. This ‘The Fling’ pair is loosely cut through the waist and legs and designed to sit low on the hips. Made from mid-weight denim, they’re distressed throughout for a lived-in look. Roll up the cuffs and team yours with mules.

Conversation Sparking Ring: The enameling on Percossi Papi’s ring is so intricate it could easily be mistaken for an antique. Crafted entirely by hand in the heart of Rome, this ornate piece is cast from polished gold and set with 0.50-carats of sapphire and a smooth 1.50-carat amethyst cabochon – its vivid purple hue only gets more intense in the light.

Perfect Accent Scarf: Rockins’ scarf is printed with snowdrop motifs – take a closer look and you’ll notice each bud is in fact a subtly disguised skull. This ivory, tonal-green and black design has been made in the UK from fluid silk crepe de chine and framed with fringing. The asymmetric cut enhances its effortless drape.

Show Stopping Boots: Saint Laurent’s ‘Anja’ boots are made from panels of buttery black leather and army-green suede in a sleek, point-toe silhouette. They have slender wraparound straps and a pin-thin stiletto heel. The ankle-grazing height works particularly well with cropped pants and jeans.

Flirty Cable Sweater: This cable-knit sweater is spun from a wool-blend that’s flecked with fun, colorful yarns for a mélange effect. Army-green ruffles cascade along the bodice, cuffs and hem. You just found your Holiday go-to sweater!

8. Luxe Wrap: Missoni’s wrap is the exact piece you need for traveling on long-haul flights or those summer nights when you want an extra layer. Spun in Italy, this wool-blend style is crochet-knitted in a heritage red, peach and black checked pattern. The monochrome striped edging creates a graphic contrast.

Keep Them Guessing Designer Shades: As well as being playful and glamorous, Jimmy Choo’s glittered cat-eye sunglasses will accentuate the arch of your brows and create the illusion of higher, more defined cheekbones. The curved shape is especially flattering on angular or square faces.

Pop Of Print: Anderson’s belt has been impeccably made in Parma, Italy, from silky leopard-print calf hair. It’s cut in a slim shape and finished with a polished gold buckle. Loop it through your favorite white jeans or knot it over a floaty dress.
