It’s Here! Altuzarra For Target

Since Target revealed in May that Joseph Altuzarra would be the next designer to create a capsule collection for the mass retailer, we’ve been keeping our ears to the ground for a sneak peek at the line. And it’s finally here! The New York Times got the scoop, paying a visit to the Paris-born designer’s studio to see some of the designs.

The lucky people at New York Times got a rifle through Joseph Altuzarra‘s debut collaboration with Target and judging from the pictures, we’re very excited. The moodboard shows scraps of sequinned and sheer fabrics, with peasant-style print and embroidery and a dash of jade-green snakeskin. Also tassels and folk-style full skirts and peasant blouses.

For those worried about the quality and finish of the products, don’t be. NYT claims the designer is a stickler for detail. ‘He asked for and got refinements, including fabric-covered buttons, French seaming in the garment’s underside as well as strategically placed darts, and the elaborately asymmetrical construction that would give his skirts their swing.’

The line is NOW available to buy at Target stores, Target.com, and Net-a-Porter! Scroll down to get a look at the line!
